Family sponsorship programs require that the sponsor meet a minimum income level to support themselves and their family members, including the family members they are applying to sponsor. IRCC uses the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) chart to assess the ability to support their family members.
MNI is updated annually. Following is the chart for 2021 i.e. sponsor who is sponsoring their family members in 2021 requires the necessary income for 2020, 2019 and 2018.
